Recommendations for Oily Skin

Your skin generally feels a bit greasy to the touch and often looks shiny. You may suffer from occasional to frequent breakouts.

Your Personalized Treatment Program:

Cleansing is necessary to dissolve excess oil, but you must be careful not to over dry your skin. Over cleansing and using overly drying products will actually cause your skin to produce even more oil in an attempt to regulate.

1. Cleanse. Wash twice daily with either our Gel Base Cleanser or Lotion Base Cleanser, depending on your preference. Both of these cleanser bases will dissolve excess oil without drying out your skin too much. Rinse with warm to very warm water and massage gently with a wash cloth or sponge to dissolve and remove excess oils.

2. Tone. Use a gentle toner to protect and restore skin's pH balance following cleansing. You may also apply a bit of cleanser whenever you want to refresh your skin.

3. Hydrate. After cleansing and toning, follow with a light moisturizer. Our Lotion Base Moisturizer is the best choice for your skin type.
