Clarifying Clay Mask - Indian Multani Earth Minerals for Oily or Blemished Skin

I found this clay to be of better quality than any other multani/fuller's earth I have tried. The consistency is finer and mixes easily with no grittiness or chunks. Application is smooth and the skin-softening properties are excellent. I do not have very oily skin yet I did not find this to be too drying. Perhaps users finding this drying did not rinse completely? I follow use with toner and this removes all traces. My skin is left soft and my pores refined. Will definitely buy again.

This mask made my skin extremely soft. I didn't love mixing it myself because it was very powdery/fine and it was a little bit hard to find the right amount of liquid to add, so I ended up using a little more than I wanted to use up on the first try. I applied it a little thin and left on 15 minutes. It dried tight and after washing it off my skin was never so smooth. I will definitely buy again, maybe a bigger jar would be better. And maybe some directions for the right amount of water to use would be really helpful. Thanks.

I do agree with the previous reviewer that this mask can be a little bit drying, but I have been careful to apply it only to my oiliest areas and to stubborn, deep cystic blemishes that needed drying. Using this with the other clear skin products (I bought the Clear Skin Starter Set) my skin is looking and feeling better than it has in many, many years. If you have cystic acne, you really need something like this to pull the oil and toxins out of those deep blemishes. I use this twice a week - one time on my cheeks and forhead (where I have the most oil and trouble), and then the second time I just apply it as a spot treatment. It has proven very effective, and I am thinking to mix it next time with a little Tea Tree oil to make an antibacterial treatment. I love how it comes in a powder so you can use what you need and have fun. Great product, thank you!

I tried this and the green clay mask, and I have to say I like the green clay better. The reason is because this made my skin feel dry after using it, which is probably good for someone with oilier skin. I have pimples, but my skin still tends toward dryness. So if you have that kind of skin, you will probably do better with the green clay.
